I just started listening to D’Angelo’s “Voodoo” album and it’s FANTASTIC! The boy’s got GROOVES for DAYS! And the songs are great, though they aren’t packed with hooks. This is a MOOD album! There are some hooks on there but not many because it’s all about mood and groove. I’ve been in kind of an anti-rock, “rock is dead” phase for awhile and this album is like the answer to my prayers! Seriously check it out! It’s one of those records that grows on you the more you listen to it!
